Metastasis

Types of Metastasis of Cancer

Lymphogenous metastasis

This is the type in which the cancerous cells
of the disease float away from the
cancerous tissue into the blood circulation
and migrate to another parts of the body.

Metastasis in lymthic circulation

This is the type in which the cancerous cells
of the disease flow to the outlying
Metastasis inlymphaticknobs,circulatingwiththe
lymthiclymphatic fluid and invading the lymphatic
circulation glands one by one and eventually enter into
the veins through the left clavicle, and
dispersing into the whole body.

Destructive metastasis

This is the type whereby the cancerous
cells grow larger steadily and metastasize
Destructive adjoining organs, tissues, e.g. invasion of
metastasis carcinoma of stomach into the abdominal
cavity to cause the type of carcinomatous
peritonitis.

Contact metastasis

This is the type whereby cancerous cells
Contact metastasize to adjoining organs, e.g.
metastasis complication of carcinoma of stomach to
neighboring liver cancer.

Initiation can be said to be the carcinogenic cause for cells under the stage of drastic change in DNA. The chemical substances that cause DNA to undergo drastic changes are carcinogenic substances. For instance, the more familiar examples are:

Trypsase P1, P2 (Chemical substances when cigarette or fish, meat are burnt)
AF2 (Food additives)
Myctoxin yellow grain toxin B 1 mycotic toxin
Cyclic hydrocarbon (contained in vehicle emission and cigarette tar)
Asbestos
Nitrosamine
(Nitrous acid composed in the stomach)
Ultraviolet ray
Radioactive ray                                                                                                                       Hepatitis C virus
(HCV)                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            Adult T Cell leukovirus (ATLV) etc.

When the chemical substances are absorbed into the body with probabilities of getting cancer (drastic change in DNA), they will induce carcinogenic-promotion chemical substances, e.g.:

Cigarettes
Hormones
Bile acid
(a liquid composed of cholesterol in the liver)
Saccharin (artificial sweetening stuff)
Phenobarbital (analgesic, drugs for systems)
Alkaloid (contained in sea weed)
Whole globular ester (contained in crouton oil)

Anyway, it is believed that such substances alone do not have the power of causing cancer.

Basically, initiation and promotion are individual functions distinctly different in nature. So long as they do not have any reaction, normal cells will not become cancerous cells.
