Cancer Survivers

Liver Cancer Survivor relied on jogging  fruit diet and alternative medicine!

That I had  liver cancer was first time discovered during a routine check up at the Bumrungrad Hospital in April 1995. I was confined in the National Cancer Institute in May, and following checkups proved, that parts of my stomach were also cancerous.

The physician advised immediate surgery and at the same time told me, that this would be dangerous, since the metastasis were on 2 different locations and that I probably was too old for this.

...”maximum 1 year to live”...

Even if I wanted to undergo surgery, what possible difference would it make...I would only have a maximum of a year to live. But still I was in good mood and not yet  depressed. Only I disliked the strong medications that made me sleepy and weak.

After consulting another physician, I dared to stop all medications. I began diet with only fruits and vegetables (raw vegetables or steamed for a short time only!). As hard as it was in the beginning: I stopped eating meat or any carbohydrate, like bread and rice. Also no more Tom Yang Gai and Tom Yang Gung, my favorite Thai soups and possibly  reason of my stomach cancer.

After only 3-4 days on fruits and mostly raw vegetables I started to lose weight. At the same time I felt better than before and I had a feeling I wanted to do excercises. From now on I started jogging! Every morning at 6 am I went to Lumpini Park in Bangkok. Since I did not make to much sports all my life, it was quite difficult. But as time went by, I became more and more experienced and can now run for 1 hour and longer  non stop without difficulty.

Many times I consulted the young physician from India who gave me the idea of alternative life-style in the first place. Each time he was asking me, whether I felt better before or now. My answer was: Now, of course.

And he explained to me the following: why to change a habit that makes you happy now? What could be a possible reason to come back to habits in my earlier life, if they were not good for me? What he was trying to say was: Keep on doing what you do now. It is a change of life not only a month of diet. And that can make all the difference.

Asking him whether it is not too late for that, he replied:” it is never too late to start a good habit”! I was so impressed with my new life, I wanted to change more now. Throwing away all my pills and medicines (again I consulted him and asked him for his advise to replace with herbal treatments!), I replaced them step by step with herbal treatments. Headache medicine, sleeping pills, even antibiotics had no more space in my house.

The results of my blood examination 4 month after were astonishing: I had blood levels, most people could only dream of, my physician said.

It has been 3 years now and I've never stopped again my new habits. There is still no bread, no rice, no cake, no meat, no noodle soup, nothing, but really nothing at all for me to eat than fruits (any kind as as much that I like) and vegetables (as much as I like, but not spicy).

The monthly examinations showed, including checkups on liver, stomach, white blood cells, and hemoglobin are all normal. There is still the cancer in my liver and there is still the cancer in my stomach. Latter has become much smaller, whereas the liver tumor did not increase at all nor has there any other organ been infected with cancerous cells.

Meaning, I am living with my cancer now. I have no pains, no handicap or any other disadvantage and I am confident that I can go on like this for a long time to come.

...there was big surprise among the physicians...

 Even the physicians were  surprised.

I still recall a doctor saying that there must have been a miracle. I only had a few months to live and now after years I am still alive.

...I trusted in myself and in a healthy life style and I did not want to give up...

I sincerely believe that this doctor from India has changed my life completely. Today I trust in this life style and I will not give up.  May many people around the globe know about this without ever being told. It is a real value for mankind.
